What is CynergyTM?
Welcome to the most up-to-date laser technology for treating vascular lesions, including spider telangiectasia and broken capillaries on the face! Cynergy is the first laser system that combines a pulse-dye laser and a powerful Nd: YAG laser into one platform. This innovative device uses advanced technology that is more effective than conventional single-wavelength lasers.
The dual wavelengths in Cynergy offer better absorption and penetration. Melanin pigment and blood absorb both wavelengths, making the laser effective against both pigmented and vascular lesions. The treatment is synergistic because the pulsed dye laser penetrates less while the Nd: YAG penetrates further down. Ideal for red acne scar treatment, cherry angioma removal, and poikiloderma treatment. Works on spider veins on legs and telangiectasia varicose veins. How does CynergyTM laser work?
The CynergyTM Pulsed Dye and YAG Laser work by targeting these vessels and causing them to shrink over 4 – 6 weeks after treatment. Uses include broken capillaries treatment, cherry angioma treatment, and telangiectasia treatment. The use of a unique cooling tip on the handpiece minimizes any discomfort and also helps to protect the skin. It is most effective when vessels are 1 to 1.5 mm in diameter.
Length of treatment
Multiple treatments are generally required to achieve the desired results. Procedures are quick; it is possible to treat a large number of veins in a session of between 15 and 60 minutes. The area will become red immediately afterward, with some minor swelling.
Downtime
There is little to no social downtime with Cynergy Laser. We recommend wearing compression stockings for a week after treatments when used for veins. Redness will improve over 24 hours.
