Icon Laser

How does Icon Laser work?

The Icon fractional laser achieves excellent skin resurfacing results by using laser energy microbeams to create areas of affected tissue that extend through the epidermis into the dermis. The body’s natural healing process creates new, healthy tissue to replace the areas of affected tissue, resulting in healthier, younger-looking skin and reducing or eliminating the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It is often used to treat stretch marks and scars as well as skin resurfacing.

The Icon laser works on all skin types, including very light and very dark skin.

Length of treatment

Most sessions last between 30 minutes and an hour.

Downtime

Patients can expect to be a little red and swollen for 24-48 hours after, however the Icon treats so many skin conditions, downtime really depends on what condition is being treated. Please ask us.

Results

While results can be seen after a single treatment, it may take 3-5 sessions to achieve optimal results.
